Ivory Music & Video drops a big one this time as it releases 3 new albums from the breakout duo of the 2004! MYMP - Make Your Momma Proud has two new albums entitled "Beyond Acoustic" "Versions" And the double CD combo "Versions & Beyond".
First off, Beyond Acoustic is the official follow-up to the platinum selling Soulful Acoustic..."Beyond..." is carried on by the first single entitled "Get Me"... this song takes MYMP inches away from their usual "acoustic" set-up as additional instruments are used to beef up their sound. But the trademark voice of Juris Fernandez is as crisp and clear as ever...melodic, light and refreshingly different are just a few words that can be used to describe this track. Other highlights of the Beyond Acoustic album are remakes of "Tell Me Where It Hurts " (an obvious folow-up to Get Me) and "Sa Kanya." Of equal importance of course, if not more are the original materials that Juris and Chin of MYMP has come up with for this album.. .this includes "Jam (set your spirits free)" , "Magical Feeling" and the reggae-ish number "Would You Be My Girlfriend."
The second album is entitled "Versions" simply put, versions is a special CD for the MYMP fan. MYMP owes, in large, part the many udiences that has seen them in countless bars and concert places that has then bought and made their first album a platinum seller. So as a thank you for those fans whos has been asking constantly for copies of their "versions" of their favorite MYMP cover song, this album is for them... Versions is a 12 track CD that contains your favorite MYMP cover song... True Colors, Especially For You, Constantly, At Your Best and more...this is MYMP's way of thanking those who bought the first album.
The third album is a double CD that contains all the tracks from Beyond Acoustic and Versions... for lack of a better title, this album is called "Versions & Beyond" this album is a specially priced CD. a discounted value as compared to buying the first two seperately... This double CD set contains 24 tracks.
This is a big one...this hasn't been done in a long while... and who better to deserve it than the newest and hottest acoustic duo around?
